Fria's pedigree

Updated:July 1, 2007

Fria started showing as a weanling and won championships and all sorts of in-hand classes through her yearling year. Including lunge-line jackpots.
Then we got too busy for showing and she went on to being trained to ride.

Fria has been in a few pleasure classes at shows but mostly has been used for adult lessons and paired up with an 11 year old girl for the GMHA Horsemanship clinic. There they successfully completed the Beghinner Novice division of the ending event.

Fria is great on the trail, comfortable around cars and has been trained to drive. She goes best for a confident, relaxed rider. Bouncy beginners tend to get her confused and worried.

She hops right on stock trailers, clips, gives her foot to the farrier - basically she is a goody-goody.

Fria has been bred twice and produced two fine colts. She takes great care of her babies and gets along well with other mares and foals.

Turkey Hollow Farm raises and trains Quarter Horses and Quarter Horse crosses. Buckskin is our favorite color. Our aim is to produce foals that people wish to buy as soon as they are weaned, but we will keep training them until they do sell. We are trying to produce atheletes with good conformation and big feet. See our home page.
